When I got my TC25D a couple years ago I did not get the front loader... I regret that and now I'm going to purchase one. I have a quote from my local dealer for the NH 7308 Loader for $3500 which includes the loader, 60" heavy duty bucket, and control valve installed. Sound fair?? I could get an Allied loader with the NH control valve for around $3000... and they actually look like good loaders, larger lift capacity, various attachments available, even custom colors if you feel the need to match your tractor. My local dealer said they do not do many of them for compact tractors.... do you think that is because people are not aware of them? or is it not the right thing to do. Only downside I could see is it is not the NH loader and it may not be as quick to connect... otherwise from a cost perspective it is cheaper and looks like the quality is there... Opinions?

I purchased a new TC29 two months ago. At the time I felt that the New Holland 7308 loader was a little on the puny side, when compared with the capabilies of the Class II Boomers frame size. Less lifting weight capacity and overall lifting hieght.
I went with a Woods 1012 loader instead, and have not regreted it at all. With the 66" HD bucket it matches the Capacities of the loader to the tractor more proportionately. Along with the new Woods 7500 backhoe I beleive that I have put together a great overall and very capable package. The Woods FEL and BH also come in New Holland blue.
I am not all that familar with the Allied/Buhler loaders for that size of tractor. Have seen them on larger farm tractors, and they seem very well built. If I weir you I wouldn't hesitate to go with an aftermarket loader, as long as it was from a well known manufacturer, such as Allied.
The price you weir quoted on that N.H. loader seems to high. I was quoted $3050 installed. Ended getting the Woods for $2500. ....

Many of the OEM loaders etc are manufactured by another company. Allied is part of Buhler which also manufactures large tractors, Versatile and Genisis. I think that is you look through the site you will find that they supply loaders for all sizes of equipment. Part of the cost savings is the dollar exchange. ....

Thanks for the feedback regarding the Woods and Allied FELs... I'm not concerned about the $3500 my dealer quoted me for the NH FEL. By default when you purchase a NH tractor they usually install the dual control valve, which I specifically requested they not do on my tractor... instead I got a posthole auger thown in the deal. My understanding is it cost about $500 - $750 to have the valve that installed. The actual FEL quote was $2800 for NH and $2300 for Allied. ....

JM

Take a look at the Woods, but also, the new NH 12LA loaders are showing up - better loader than the 7308 I think. I'm pretty sure the 12LA goes on the TC25, if not its the 14LA which is out, just not here locally yet. ....
